Shannon Scott is a Washington attorney who focuses exclusively on fiduciary services for individuals. She serves as Personal Representative and Administrator of probate estates as well as Trustee of various trust formations. Shannon has extensive experience in the administration of complex and contested estates.
Shannon limits her practice to referrals from other attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors in the Puget Sound.
EDUCATION:
Shannon received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 1998. She has a B.A. in Bioethics from Colorado State University.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Shannon founded Scott Estate Services in 2006. Prior to that, she was the Manager of Trusts & Estates for the University of Washington. She managed the estate interests of the University and oversaw the acceptance of complex assets including real estate, business and partnerships, and special collections. Shannon’s prior experience also includes service with the Office of the Attorney General of Washington State, focusing on prosecution of elder care and health care abuses.
ACTIVITIES:
Shannon is a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust section of the Washington State Bar Association. She is also on the Legacy Council for Seattle Children's Hospital and a former Chairperson of LEAVE A LEGACY® of Western Washington.
ADMISSIONS:
Shannon is admitted to the Washington State Bar (1998).
PERSONAL:
Shannon enjoys open water swimming, travel, and spending time on Kauai where she was raised.
